Man shoots wife, daughters in Kabirwala

KABIRWALA: A man gunned down his wife and two daughters after having a clash over a domestic issue in Kabirwala area of Khanewal District in the Punjab province, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to police, man named Muhammad Hayat killed his wife, Shahnaz and daughter named Mehwish, aged 10 after having a quarrel with his wife over a matrimonial issue.

His two other daughters - Firasat Bibi, 20 and Asma, 17 – were also injured due to indiscriminate firing. They were rushed to Kabirwala Hospital where Firasat Bibi succumbed to her injuries while Asma is said to be in stable condition.

After the incident, accused Hayat fled from the scene.
