Four arrested over attack on Lahore jail wardens: police

LAHORE: Lahore Police Monday claimed to have arrested four terrorists, who attacked jail wardens in Rasool Park Achra, Geo News reported.

According to police, arrested terrorists identified as Karamat Ali, Zulfiqar Ali, Ali Afzal and Abdul Hafeez hail to Al-Qaeda group of proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The accused had attacked under training jail staff in Rasool Park Achra, killing 10 people and injuring 22 others.

It may be noted here that the jail staffers, who had been killed in the attack, were the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
