HUB: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday directed authorities concerned to expedite work on Gaddani Power project as it was vital for Pakistan.
He said this while chairing a meeting of Steering Committee of the Gaddani Power Park on Saturday. The premier said that there was no room for any delay in this project.
The prime minister was told during the meeting that as many as 10 coal-fired power plants would be setup in the Pakistan Power Park. Balochistan government would allocate 5000 acre land for 7-kilometer jetty.
6,600 megawatt electricity would be produced through the Gaddani Power Project while each plant would generate 660 megawatt electricity.
