Power breakdown in Sindh, Balochistan areas after transmission line fault

KARACHI: Electricity supply to various parts of Sindh and Balochistan was suspended after a fault in 132-KV transmission line from Guddu Power House.

The power supply was suspended on Sunday evening around 6:00 pm. The cities where the electricity supply was suspended include Jacobabad, Kandhkot and Thal in Sindh while Jaffarbad, Naseerabad,Dera Murad Jamali and Jhal Magsi in Balochistan.

People have been facing difficulties due to prolonged power breakdown. Authorities said repair work on the transmission line was underway and electricity would soon be restored.
