Pillion-riding woman gunned down in Lahore

LAHORE: Some unknown persons opened fire killing a pillion-riding woman in Moghulpura area on Saturday here, Geo News reported.

Police said that a passing by couple riding a motorbike was targeted and fired upon by some unknown persons near Flyover in Moghulpura area, which resulted in the instant death of Samia, 26, while her husband Wasim fortunately remained safe.

Samia was a resident of Nishat Colony and both the husband and wife were on the way to their house. A case has been registered against unknown persons at the Moghulpura police station, police said.
