ISLAMABAD: The sessions of the National Assembly, the Senate and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly would be held on Monday to discuss the situation that emerged following the death of Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief in a US drone attack.

The National Assembly session would begin at 4:00 PM in the parliament house for which six-point agenda has been prepared. Sources said that the assembly would be taken into confidence over talks with the Taliban, aftermath of drone attack and the prime minister’s visit to the US.

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) also announced to bring a resolution in the assembly session pertaining to stop NATO supply lines to Afghanistan.

The Senate session would kick off at 3:30 PM. The opposition parties have already boycotted the proceedings of the Senate over behaviour of interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
