HANGU: Three-day curfew has been imposed in Hangu, a town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in a bid to avoid any possible untoward incident during Ashura.

According to Hangu DC Syed Ahmed Jan, the curfew has been imposed from Muharram 9 to 11. Cellular phone services have also been blocked in the town, he said.

Aerial surveillance would also be done on Muharram 9 and 10, he added.
