KARACHI: Sindh government has put a 24-hour ban on pillion riding in Karachi for Friday, according to notification issued on Thursday.
According to details, the ban has been imposed to ensure security in Karachi as Wafaqul Madaris Alarabia are observing strike against the Rawalpindi tragedy on Friday.
According to provincial education minister, all government and private educational institutions would remain opened across the province including Karachi.
Markets, business centres and petrol pump would also remain opened, however, CNG refilling pumps would close from 8 AM for 24 hours as per schedule.
Transporters have said that they would consider the situation before bringing their transport on roads.
