According to the notification, under the new local bodies set up there will be 10 municipal corporations, 23 district councils and 40 municipal committees.
The number of town committees will be 139 while there will be a total of 434 union committees.
The province will have a total of 1064 union councils.
There will be 267 union committees in Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
