PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in at Hayatabad Toll Plaza here resumed Tuesday morning as scheduled, but later it was marred by an in-fight among the PTI activists that led to firing causing stampede and chaos, however, no loss of life occurred, Geo News reported.

Sources said that unlike the previous two days, PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) sit-in started this morning with a sitting arrangement as chairs were lined up where the worker could wait until the arrival of any trailer for their screening and clearance if it is not carrying any Nato supplies.

Despite this facility provided by their parties, the workers it seems have lost their patience and appeared short tempered as they started quarreling among themselves, while one among them resorted to aerial firing causing stampede and chaos. However, the police and PTI administration present over there swiftly making a move saved the situation from causing any loss of life.
