Cabinet committee meeting on national security today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has summoned a meeting of the cabinet committee on national security Tuesday.

The meeting would deliberate upon the draft of new national security policy prepared by ministry of interior.

The sources said that the meeting would also take a comprehensive review of prevalent internal and external security situation of the country. It would also discuss the affairs regarding strategy to hold peace talks with the Taliban.

All the chiefs of armed forces and Cabinet members of the committee will attend the meeting.
