DHAKA: Protesters in Bangladesh burnt Pakistan’s flags in five cities on Friday.
Police barred the angry protesters from entering the Pakistan High Commission. The law enforcers resorted to baton charge to stop the protesters.
Security around the Pakistan High Commission was beefed up while thousands of troops have also been deployed in the wake of January 5 election.
Effigies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan were also burnt in different cities of Bangladesh.
