PM forms committee on missing persons

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has formed a committee tasked with drafting a law in connection with missing persons, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to Prime Minister House spokesman, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif will be the chairman of the committee while Attorney General and Secretaries of interior, defence and law will be its members.

The committee formed on the directives of the Supreme Court will work on drafting a law pertaining to the missing persons.
