LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif Monday, stressing on the resolution of all issues between Pakistan and India through dialogues, said that the two neighbourly countries achieved nothing except wars during 65 years, Geo News reported.
Shahbaz Sharif in a meeting with the Indian High Commissioner, Dr. T.C.A. Raghavan here said that the people of both countries wanted to live like friends peacefully.
He further said Pakistan wanted better relations with India, the two countries haven’t achieved anything except wars and stressed on the resolution of all contentious issues through dialogues, as this was also the desire of the people of both the countries.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the lasting regional peace would assure progress and prosperity.
