SHARJAH: Sri Lankan skipper Angelo Mathews won the toss and elected to bat first in the 3rd and final Test at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
It is a must win situation for Pakistan if they are level the Test series as they lost the second Test at Dubai.
Pakistan have made three changes, most of them along expected lines as Abdur Rehman, Azhar Ali and Mohammad Talha make their way into the XI.
So Mohammad Hafeez and Rahat Ali have been dropped while Bilawal Bhatti's hamstring niggle has ruled him out.
Sri Lanka have opted for one change, Dilruwan Perera makes his Test debut as Nuwan Pradeep sits out.
The pitch looks good for batting atleast for the first couple of days and both the captains expressed their willingness to bat first before the toss.
