Pakistan not to accept US aid with strings: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning and Development, has stated that Pakistan is a sovereign country and will not accept US aid with strings.

While talking to journalists here Tuesday, Ahsan Iqbal said the US and Pakistan should respect each others’ laws on the issue of Shakil Afridi.

Referring to the trade concessions given by the European Union to Pakistan‚ Ahsan said Islamabad is negotiating with the United States to secure enhanced access to American market.
