Karachi police chief denies allegations of extra judicial killings

KARACHI: Brushing aside the allegations of extra judicial killings, Karachi Police Chief Shahid Hyat said that the police were not involved in these illegal activities.

Speaking to media, he said that solid evidences were available against the groom arrested from Shah Faisal Colony last night.

Hyat, however, said that investigations had been initiated against policemen for torturing the detainee.
