NEW YORK: Shahzaib, a Pakistani student who is being treated after a road accident, showed no signs of improvement on Thursday with US doctors insisting to deport the injured as his visa expires on February 28.
However, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Jaleel Abbas Jeelani said the issue of visa would soon be addressed and Shahzaib will continue to receive treatment in the US.
Speaking to Geo News, he said that the Pakistan Embassy was in contact with the US authorities over the visa that he said could be extended.
Shahraiz, a brother of Shahzaib, said that Pakistani government didn’t offer any help for treatment of the injured student.
