THATTA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says those who support negotiations should take the fallout of the process into consideration.
Speaking at the Sindh Festival closing ceremony, the PPP leader also recalled the Swat operation while criticizing the peace process. He said the nation was fully informed about what had happened in Swat and with Maulana Sufi Muhammad.
“Our country, our culture is in danger, our rulers didn't tell us the truth, they tried to suppress us, they wanted to break us but we didn't break,“ he said.
“You say, let’s talk, please do, but ask me what will happen after talks because I know the consequences,” the PPP chief said.
He said the Taliban wanted to enforce law of oppression through violence “but they should be scared of the time when this nation will rise and unite against them.”
