ISLAMABAD: Chief of Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Sami (JUI-S) Sunday said nation is going to hear good news soon in connection with the ongoing peace talks with the Pakistani Taliban.

According to sources, Maulana Sami said this while attending a reception hosted by the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif in honour of the visiting Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

Three services chiefs and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif were also among others present on the occasion. Akram Shaikh, the Prosecutor in the ongoing treason trial against General (retd) Pervez Musharraf also attended the reception.

Federal Minister for Information and broadcasting, Pervaiz Rasheed on the occasion said the Saudi Crown Prince was not here to discuss Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
