ISLAMABAD: In second such incident in a week, four more Kashmiri students have been expelled from the hostel of Sharda University in Greater Noida city of Uttar Pradesh in India for cheering Pakistani team during the Asia Cup match against India.
Four of the students are from Jammu and Kashmir while two hail from Aligarh. The University is yet to issue a statement on why it has punished students for cheering for Pakistan win, KMS reported.
Pertinently 67 Kashmiri students of Swami Vivekananda Subharti University in Meerut were expelled from the hostel for supporting the Pakistan cricket team against India on Sunday last. (APP)
