Tharparkar issue: Shahi Syed says heads should roll

KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Senator Shahi Syed Wednesday said the situation in Tharparkar is extremely worrisome and that such a huge crisis could not be possible in the absence of major negligence and dereliction of duty.

In a statement, the ANP Senator said no political point scoring should be made on a human crisis of serious nature.

He called upon the government to initiate action and take to task those who are responsible for the crisis in the drought-stricken parts of Tharparkar district.
