One gunned down, 3 injured in Karachi

KARACHI: Firing on a roadside hotel killed one person and injured three others here in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Wednesday.

According to police, a hotel in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block-5 came under fire attack by unknown assailants, killing a man and injuring three others.

The dead and injured were taken to a nearby hospital.

The incident enraged the area people who took to the street and pelted the passing vehicles with stones.

Earlier, a doctor was killed and another man injured as a result of firing on a car in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.

Later, a grenade attack was also reported in Block-18 of the same area near Perfume Chowk.
