Terror bid foiled in Hangu, 4Kg bomb defused outside school

HANGU: A major terrorism bid was foiled Friday when the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) in Hangu defused a 4-kilogram bomb planted outside a primary school.

According to police, the unidentified terrorists planted the bomb at the main gate of government primary school in Babu Tang area. The school was evacuated after a teacher informed the police about the bomb.

Later, the BDS team defused the 4kg bomb and the school resumed its educational activities.
