Chakwal: 5 dead, 16 injured in two traffic mishaps

CHAKWAL: At least five persons died and sixteen sustained injuries in two different traffic accidents on Saturday morning here, Geo News reported.

Police said that a pickup van clashed head-on with a speedy trailer coming from the opposite direction near Qasba Tho Bahadur on Tilagang road, which resulted in the death of 5 persons and seriously injuring 10 others.

Another accident occurred at Salt Range on Motoway, where a passenger van and trailer clash left 6 injured.

All the injured persons were shifted to Chakwak DHQ Hospital for medical aid.
