KARACHI: Three gang war accused were killed in two separate alleged encounters in Karachi in the wee hours of Thursday, Geo News reported.

SSP Lyari said two gang war accused, identified as Majid alias Steel and Akhar were killed in joint encounter with Rangers and police in Safi Lane area.

He said both the accused belong to Sheraz Comrade group, and were wanted to police in kidnapping for ransom cases.

Police recovered arms and hand grenade from the custody of accused.

On the other hand, SSP City Sheraz Nazir said a gang war accused was killed in Napier locality of Old City area.

The SSP the accused has been identified as Kashif alia Mota and he belong to Sohail Dada group. He was involved in target killing and extortion.
