BANNU: Five persons were injured and a security forces’ vehicle was destroyed when explosives fixed in a motorcycle went off in Bannu on Thursday, Geo News reported.

According to details, the explosion occurred near a bank on Railway Road. Five persons sustained injuries in the mishap who were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital where three were said to be in critical condition.

A vehicle belonging to Khasadar Force that was parked near the blast site was also destroyed while the glass of nearby shops were also smashed due to the impact.

Police cordoned off the blast site and launched investigation into the attack. They further told that the blast targeted the Khasadar Force vehicle.
