RISALPUR: Chief of Air Staff Tahir Rafique Butt said on Wednesday that Pakistan Air Force is fully equipped with the modern technology and is always ready to safeguard the country, Geo News reported.

Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt was addressing the 132nd DG Pilot passing out parade at the Risalpur Academy as the chief guest.

The Air Chief congratulated the new commissioned batch and expressed his contentment and pride over the training conducted at the academy. He said that training of the foreign cadets at the academy reflects the confidence of international community in Pakistan.





The Air Chief said that PAF is also playing a vital role in the on-going operation Zarb-e-Azb as well and has a history of unprecedented sacrifices for the county.

The Air Chief said told the cadets that they could not compromise on anything lesser than excellence. He then quoted the founder of Pakistan Qaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah that the soldiers should always remain alert and prepared. He said that they have to progress keeping in view the conventional standard of bravery and courage.

Pilot Officer Sufyan Babar received the Sword of Honour, Pilot Officer Ali Hanif received the Chief of Air Staff trophy and Under Officer Ali Rashid secured Chairman Joint of Staff trophy.
