Pakistan playing vital role in UN peacekeeping mission: Nawaz

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is playing a vital role in the United Nations peacekeeping mission.

During his speech at the United Nations on Friday, he said that Pakistan was determined to coordinate peace missions. He said Pakistan was playing a leading role in the UN peacekeeping mission.

Sharif said that Islamabad was ready to train troops of other countries for the mission.

He stressed the need to broaden interaction among the countries taking part in the peacekeeping mission.

The prime minister paid salute to those who sacrificed their lives during the UN mission.
