Kidnapped child recovered from Landhi during raid

KARACHI: A child abducted from Hijrat Colony was recovered and a kidnapper arrested during a joint action by CPLC and special investigation carried out in Quaidabad, Landhi.

CPLC chief Ahmed Chinoy told Geo News that the recovered child was kidnapped from a Madrassa in Hijrat Colony and Rs 0.5 million were demanded as ransom.

The child has been identified as 8 year old Tufail Zaman where as the arrested kidnapper has been identified as Qari Shaukat.

The special investigation unit is carrying out further investigation against the arrested kidnapper.
