KARACHI: Police have arrested at least nine suspects for their alleged involvement in robberies at the offices of Edhi Foundation and Chhipa Welfare.
Sources said that the nine suspects were taken into custody from Karachi and interior Sindh.
Though stolen money could not be recovered, investigators say the robberies were carried out to execute some “horrific purposes” and main characters of the crime had fled to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
The source claimed that the plan for both the robberies was made at a same house located in Korangi.
They said that basic information for the plan was provided by two brothers who worked for Edhi Foundation and Chhipa Welfare.
