Rangers conduct raids, 3 suspected criminals arrested

KARACHI: Three criminals belonging to a political party have been arrested as Rangers raided the old city area in Karachi.

According to Rangers officials the raids were conducted in the old city area due to intelligence reports.

Before carrying out the raids the area was cordoned and all entries and exits were blocked.

During the raids house to house search was conducted and 3 suspects were arrested. A huge amount of arms and ammunition were also recovered including an Anti aircraft gun and Kalashnikov.

The arrested suspects are thought to be involved in murder, extortion and terrorism.
