TAXILA: Pakistan Army soldier, who was martyred in a clash with terrorists in South Waziristan on Saturday, has been laid to rest in his hometown Sultanppur with full military honour, Geo News reported.

Havaldar Masood was martyred in clash with terrorists in South Waziristan, in which top Al Qaeda leader Adnan al Shukrijumah, his aide and their local facilitator were killed on Saturday.

The floral wreath from Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain was laid on the grave of Havaldar Masood after his burial with military honours.

Masood has left behind a minor son and three daughters.
