ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and his other colleagues to read the verdict of Supreme Court if they get time from sit-in politics, Geo News reported.

In a statement issued here, Pervaiz Rasheed said Imran Khan and his other colleagues should read the SC verdict with the assistance of their counsels so they could understand that the rigging could only be challenged in the Election Tribunals (ETs).

Law could not help PTI leaders by sit-ins, protest and complaining about poll riggigs, he added.

The Supreme Court (SC) on Saturday observed that election results could only be challenged in the Election Tribunals (ETs).

The apex court made the observation in the detailed judgment on the dismissal of petitions seeking the declaration of the 2013 elections null and void.
