Waseem Beater acquitted in extortion case

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday acquitted Waseem alias Beater in an extortion case.

According to details, ATC-9 heard the case against Waseem Beater on charges of extortion. He was accused of collecting extortion for the police.

His name come into lime light during ‘Karachi Unrest’ case in Supreme Court of Pakistan. However, the police have failed to produce any evidence against Waseem in the court and the ATC acquitted him in the extortion case.
