JIT constituted to probe Lahore Church blasts

LAHORE: Punjab Government on Monday formed a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe the Youhannabad Church blasts.

According to details, DIG Investigations Shehzad Sultan will head the JIT while representatives from Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Crime Investigation Department (CID), Operations police and Intelligence Bureau (IB) have also been included in the JIT.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has also taken the notice of the hit-and-run that resulted in the killing of a man in Lahore today and ordered the DIG operation to report him at the earliest.

The CM directed the police to arrest the car driver and take action under the law.
