ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said the Supreme Court (SC) has been pleaded to adjourn the hearing of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) Implementation case until the ruling on NRO Review case is given, Geo News reported Monday.
Talking to media after attending meeting held regarding Pakistan Railways, he said it is inappropriate that NRO Review case ruling comes after the verdict in the other case.
The PM Gilani stressed that government would stay and go the entire length of its five-year term, adding the policy of reconciliation will continue.
‘We all came en masse and will depart as such,’ the premier remarked adding he will have a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani tonight.
Emphatic Yousuf Raza Gilani observed the people speaking about change, will be disappointed, as no change is in sight through democratic means.
The premier refused to comment on the NRO.
The summary is what has been tabled; otherwise, it is not called a summary, he added.
