ISLAMABAD: Punishing heat wave continues to grip most parts of Sindh, Balochistan while parts of Khyber Pakhutunkhwa and Punjab received scattered rain today (Tuesday).
Markets and roads wore deserted look as most cities of Sindh baked on over 40 degree Celsius. According to the Met office, Dadu and Larkana sizzled at 43 and 42 degree Celsius.
The Met office said the temperature in Nawabshah, Rahimyar Khan, Sukker and Lahore was recorded 39, 38, 35 degree Celsius respectively.
Scattered rain with thunder and lightning has been forecast for DI, Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Lahore, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Peshawar, Malakand, Hazara, Quetta, Zohb, Sibbi, Nasirabad and Kashmir.
