Khanzada was bold worker of PML-N: President Mamnoon

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Sunday while describing Col (retd) Shuja Khanzada as a ‘bold and exemplary’ worker of Pakistan Muslim League-N termed today’s attack on him as an act of cowardice.

In a statement issued here, the President said the sacrifice rendered by Shuja Khanzada would not be allowed to end up in futility.

He said cowardly attacks like one happened today would not deter the incumbent government from pushing ahead against the scourge of terrorism.

Punjab Home Minister Col (r) Shuja Khanzada was among 19 people who lost their lives today when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a political office of the retired colonel in his native village in Attock district.

Rescue and administration officials confirmed the death toll, adding that at least 17 other people were injured in the suicide blast.
