Protests in Kashmir after Yaseen Malik arrested by Indian forces

SRINAGAR: Hurriyat leader Yaseen Malik has detained by Indian forces along with his companions in Srinagar.

According to sources, Liberation Front leader Yaseen Malik and his associated were physically harassed by the Indian forces as they were returning from Srinagar.

Following his detention Kashmiri youth in Batengo took to the streets and raised slogans against the occupying Indian forces and in favour of independence. As a response, Indian forces launched a crackdown against the protesters using tear gas and beat them with batons.
