LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Sarwar has written a letter to Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, asking the government to provide security to him (Sarwar) and his family members.
In a letter, Sarwar said he and his family were receiving threats from terrorists, adding that police had taken the weapons from his guard on the day of Local Government polls in the Punjab.
He demanded of the Interior Minister to immediately return the weapons and grant permission to his guard to perform his duties with licensed weapons.
"The leadership of Pakistan Muslim Leagure-Nawaz would be responsible if anything were to happen to me and my family", he said.
