Lahore: Housemaid, 15, succumbs to torture injuries

LAHORE: Fiza, 15, a housemaid, who was fighting for her life in Services Hospital after being brutally tortured by her employer, succumbed to her injuries here on Sunday night, Geo News reported.

Earlier, Fiza was hospitalized in critical condition after she was allegedly tortured by Professor Salman, a resident of Defence Housing Authority Lahore. He was arrested shortly.

Initial medical examination report also confirmed the victim was raped, SP Cantt Umar Cheema said.

Fiza’s cruel employer has confessed to thrashing her with a PVC pipe after trussing her up. The police have recovered the rope and the pipe.
