Policeman martyred in attack near Super Highway

KARACHI: One policeman was martyred while another sustained injuries when terrorists attacked a check-post near the Super Highway on Saturday.

DIG East Muneer Sheikh confirmed that a police constable Ali Raza was gunned down. It has come to light that neither of the two policemen deployed at such a sensitive location were wearing bulletproof jackets.

According to the deployment records, four instead of two policemen were supposed to be deployed at the check-post.
