Chidambaram assures foolproof security for Pak athletes

NEW DELHI: Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram assured once again foolproof security for Pakistani athletes during Commonwealth Games, as Pakistani contingent arrived in New Delhi for the even, Geo News reported Thursday.

Pakistani High Commissioner Shahid Malik called on India’s Home Minister P Chidambaram and had discussion over issues regarding the security of Pak athletes.

Chidambaram assured Malik of foolproof security for the players and that they would be accorded complete protocol and additional security.

According to India media reports, Shahid Malik expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements made for the Games.
