GUJRANWALA: Activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), protesting against yesterday’s arrests of party workers after they collided with PML-N supporters during polling of second phase of LG polls, clashed with police here on Friday.
According to police, PTI activists resorted to violence, destroying public property and completely blocking the GT Road near Kangni Wala Bypass for all kind of traffic.
Following Thursday’s clash between workers of the two rival parties, a case was lodged against both sides at Sabzi Mandi Police Station.
Police said that PTI activists also manhandled a SHO today.
