Rescue sources said that a family had lit fire in their hut near Gorakh Hill Station which burnt their hut.
Sources said the woman and her six children were reportedly dead in mishap. Identity of the victims could not be ascertained.
Over 32 pet animals present in the hut also died in the blaze.
