Nisar’s threats targeting only one province: Khursheed Shah

SUKKUR: Opposition leader in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah Sunday said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar can make anyone confess to committing all of Pakistan’s crimes in a matter of just 15 days.

At a media talk here, Khursheed Shah said warned against undermining the federation through issuing threats. “The fall of one pillar will bring down the whole structure,” he added.

He said that he had earlier warned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that those he trusts blindly will be the ones to make him suffer.

Coming down hard on Chaudhry Nisar over his warning of bringing evidence against Dr Asim Hussain before everyone, Khrusheed Shah said while Nisar talked about Dr Asim’s crying the latter would himself make confessions once someone grills for 15 days.

He said Chaudhry Nisar is issuing final warnings to one province. “We will ask the Prime Minister if this was all happening with his permission or the snakes thriving under his care are trying to play with the federation,” he added.

He asked why only one province is under scrutiny. “Are the rest of three provinces free of terrorism and corruption. Is this to suggest that everyone in these provinces is discharging responsibilities with utmost honesty,” he questioned.

He said why is it that facilitators of terrorists present in the government are never captured.
