Army chief visits Bacha Khan University, Charsadda hospital

CHARSADDA: The Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited Charsadda's Bacha Khan University, where at least 20 people were martyred in a deadly attack by terrorists on Wednesday.
The Army Chief met with members of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and soldiers who carried out the operation and killed the terrorists. He appreciated timely response by the security forces.
Later, Gen. Sharif visited the Charsadda's District Headquarters Hospital and inquired after the health of injured.
He also expressed deep grief over the loss of lives, saying: “Our heart goes out to bereaved families of shaheeds (martyrs) for this irreparable loss.”
