CHITRAL: Tremors spread panic in Chitral, Malakand Division and surrounding areas on Saturday afternoon.
The earthquake registered a 4.8 on the Richter scale according to Pakistan’s seismological department.
The epicenter of the quake was in the Hindukush region at a depth of 78 kilometers.
No major damage was reported due to the tremors.
Over 400 people lost their lives and hundreds of homes were damaged in a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Afghanistan and Pakistan two months back.
