KARACHI: Former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf was discharged from PNS Shifa hospital after being taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the medical facility over high blood pressure complaint.
According to sources, Pervez Musharraf’s personal physicians had also been called to the hospital.
However, spokesman for Musharraf’s All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Brig (retd) Akhtar Zamin said the decision of relieving him from the hospital was taken after initial blood pressure reports came out normal.
He described Gen (retd) Musharraf’s condition as stable, saying that he faces no serious problem with his health.
The spokesman added that Musharraf was only shifted to the hospital for having these minor tests done.
